This is a free event. On our booking page you can make a donation to the Frances Browne Literary Festival should you wish, but please don't feel in any way obliged.
Our Poetry Awards event is a must for anyone interested in poetry, language and literature. Celebrating the three languages of the Finn Valley, we award three top prizes in each category of English poetry, Irish poetry and Ulster Scots poetry. We listen to our winning poets communicating their own poems in the way only authors can.
Special Guests to this years’ Poetry Night is new Ulster Scots writing group ‘Sheddas on tha Page’. Introduced by Anne Mc Master, their tutor and renowned poet and friend of the Festival they will share some of their new work with us.
