Events for Children at the Frances Browne Literary Festival

The Tale of FairyFoot - From Frances Browne's 'Granny's Wonderful Chair' comes a must-see event for all the family.

"It's hard to live in a world of Big Feet when you are the only one with small feet! Help Snowflower find her Granny and to tell the tale of Fairyfoot." This spectacular, interactive outdoor promenade performance takes place in Drumboe Woods. As you walk through the woods you'll find dance, storytelling, music and singing in the beautiful surroundings. An experience for all ages.

This special event involves a cast of local children and amateurs as well as professional artists. There are four performances over the weekend - Saturday 14th at 2pm and 4pm & Sunday 15th at 2pm and 4pm. Family tickets available

ALSO on Sunday 15th join us for a FREE Family Fun day between 2pm and 5pm with facepainting, arts and crafts, and more at the Finn Valley Family Resource Centre, also on Drumboe Avenue and within walking distance from The Tale of Fairyfoot. No need to book.
