Due to the high volume of entries for this year’s poetry competition, it is with regret that the judges have made the decision to delay the announcement of the longlisted entries until Wednesday, 20 September 2023.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause competition entrants. The judges feel they need additional time to give proper consideration to each and every entry.

We hope everyone will understand and thank you for your support and patience. The competition shortlists will be announced as planned on 27 September 2023.
